Safe-Guard’s Theft Protection programs help to prevent the theft of your vehicle and aid in the recovery in the event a theft does occur. Safe-Guard’s Safe-Parts Theft Protection System permanently marks the vehicle’s body parts (i.e., trunk, hood and doors) with labels that leave indelible identification numbers on the vehicle’s body parts that can only be seen with ultra-violet light. The identification numbers are registered in a national database and can be scanned by law enforcement officials to trace the vehicle’s ownership.
